Volvo T5 triggering
« on: September 21, 2009, 07:53:58 am »
I am planning to run a supercharged T5 in a special project and would like peoples thoughts on the best way to go about triggering it.

As far as I can tell at the moment I would need to have a 60-2 primary trigger along
with a secondary cam trigger and run fully sequentially.  Is that right??

This is my first management install so I'm feeling in the dark a little.

Cheers

you can run these enegine only with 60-2 wheel, you need to spark 5 time per crank rotation(wasted spark on one cilynder with cop).
Better way is to run can with cam sync(25 option to sec trigger).
ref trigger table is 0 96 72 48 24
number of teeth 58, next 24
I don't know now what is trigger tooth and deg, but i will start engine tomorow and strobe it.
