Hi,
this car ran just fine until customer tried to connect an SD card board with no success (not reading SD anyway and LCD display not working anymore) and/or connected his brand new W10 laptop.
He has no internet connection at the moment where he lives, but over the phone I discovered it was almost missfiring and running badly because of lambda at 0.65 (or less) and ignition timing steady at 10° whatever the rpm, even if maps were not corrupted and correctly populated.
Yes, Launch is Always ON but not enriching or retarding.
This is a print screen over Telegram:

Any idea why ignition table commands 18.3° and getting only 10°, for example?
Thanks

do you have log of engine running?

do you have log of engine running?
No, he hasn't any internet connection at the moment, so I can't get any log.
Just print screens, if you need something in particular out of the log he made.
Anyway in his laptop the serial appears as UNKNOWN...

that's the reason why you have 10 degrees there :) you should contact vems about that situation, write an email or fill wiki page, you will get instructions what to do :)

Ohh.... what happened???
Something like this?
http://www.vems.hu/wiki/index.php?page=GenBoard%2FFirmware%2FBootLoaderLoopback
In fact it happened after he connected bluetooth to RS232 for VemsAndroid...
Anyone using a 10K resistor between pin 3 & 5 to "prevents crosstalk between RX & TX, which is what causes the ECU to think they are shorted and enters bootloader mode"?
http://www.vemssupport.com/forum/index.php/topic,2108.msg20965.html#msg20965
Is the resistor going to shatter rs232 comunication with bluetooth or USB adapters?
Thanks

loopback has nothing to do with serial number-0 contact vems directly...

I really hope anyone at Vems.hu would reply to my email ASAP, as customer is REALLY angry.

that's not your problem, that's customers problem and I believe he somehow managed to fuck up atmega by connecting sd wron or something similar... because nothing of those works :)

Eh.... unfortunately you know is not that easy, usually...
Yes, he tried by himself to install the SdCardBoard on the ecu board... but that was extremely easy as he just had to connect that board to an existing plug.
Moreover he started the car in the morning, everything was perfect, had a 20 kms trip, switched off the engine to make fuel, restarted and the car was missfiring!
So it is my problem now because I suggested him to buy me a VEMS to install him...

Just a quick update on this:
the ecu needed a mainboard replacement... ??? :o
