Title: PWM controled water injection pump speed/pressure
Post by: mads b (dk) on April 07, 2015, 06:29:14 pm
Is it possible to built a water injection controller within vems?

The pump used 10amp at max pressure.

Regards Mads

Hello Mads,

Sure why not, use a FET or IGBT output and Secondary PWM function to inject with programmable duty cycle versus rpm/map.

Best regards, Dave

Am i right that i have to use a ignition output because my injection can only take 8A ??

injection drivers IRF640N = 8A
ignition drivers 14N40FVL = 14A

Thanks Mads

I'm running my waterinjection directly from a ignition driver and it seems to be working as it should....... but do I need something like this to be safe?
