Title: Keyboard firmware: 1.1.61
Post by: DMS on October 09, 2009, 01:04:50 AM
I don't seem to get the keyboard commands working. I intend to use Vems to adjust my LPG venturi settings. So I've only hooked-up the WBO2 sensor. When I active the sensor with VemsTune I have the sensor functioning. However I don't want to start the laptop every time. Instead I want to use the LCD and keyboard.

However I don't get a respons displayed on the LCD when I type:

Manmlp02
followed by:
Manmde02

From my understanding the LCD is set to display page 02 with the first command and the second command should manually activate the sensor.

Can anyone give me a pointer?

Thanks,
Jan

There is ps2 and non-ps2 firmware. The non-ps2 use the ps2 pin to speed sensor input.
What do you use for 1.1.61? Megatune or Vemstune? Which version?
Do you have screen for the new misc and knock setup?

I used this link: http://vems.hu/download/v3gui/ (http://vems.hu/download/v3gui/) and I downloaded "VemsTune-Install-2009-10-02.exe" (version 0.10.0). In the Firmware web tool I selected the 1.1.61 version.

It's the first time I use VemTune so I can't refer to any old setup.

I've no idea, as I just selected it from the displayed list in Firmware web tool from VemsTune.

When you want to upload firmware you can select that option along with the clt and iat sensor files.

Thanks Gunni, I'll take a look tomorrow.

Any chance you know which clt file I need for a stock M30B35 sensor, and the webshop IAT sensor?

Cheers,
Jan

I´d give the 2063 ago for both of them.
Might have to go one step above or below if either is a little off
