Title: ignition outputs fo waisted spark on v8
Post by: Seight-v8 on December 20, 2009, 04:25:05 PM
hello all,

Just had a month off from my car, as i;ve been unwell...now just picking up the pieces again.

Whats the best option for the ignition outputs on my wasited spark v8.

should i use h[2] 03..00 and then use the correct firing order 10,24,36,34.

or

should i use h[2] 07.00 and then use the above order twice....

or does it not matter

cheers

If your going to run wasted spark coils you only need 4 ignition outputs and that it s 03..00

This will leave 4 ign outputs for other use.

If you have 8 coils then you can run them as dual out(uses 8 outputs) or sequentially(uses 8 outputs)
The later requiring a cam sensor.
