I have just got arround to checking my log files from last night ( a steady 14 milr run over to MNR headquaters ) as I have a problem on my NSF corner that I wanted marc to have a look at.
everyting is fine ( ok my fueling is still out but I know about that ) no trigger errors which is good.
My query is I have a point on the vemslogview where everything drops to 0 the corresponding lines in the log looks like
1160.57 20 2769 40.3 12 1.14 31.1 81.1 1 103 96 100 100 100 0 74 4.7 6 10.8 1.012 29 2.94 0 0 13.76 0 0 0 0 0 0 1000000 0 4
MARK 001 manual 2007-05-01T17:07:22+01:00
1160.746 20 2759 37 12 1 31.1 81.1 1 103 96 100 100 100 0 73 4.3 6 9.9 1.02 29 2.94 0 0 13.65 0 0 0 0 0 0 1000000 0 4
I.e. suddenly get a line with 'MARK 001 manual 2007-05-01T17:07:22+01:00' which would be the time that the log was being created and nothing else on the line. might be because the laptop tried to go to sleep or somthing.
As I have finally got the VEMS up and running just wandered if anyone else has had anything similar ?
Will be doing the run again friday to hopefully fit some decent front uprights and 4 pot calipers so might try switching the sleep mode off on the laptop to see if that changes anything.

I got those "Mark" lines from time to time too. They seemed to come from 2 sources - power loss to the ECU (eg I turned the key off and on again because the cold start didn't) or as you surmise the laptop trying to go to sleep and Megatune thinking this is a new log or the ECU has been reset. I suspect it isn't anything more serious, as I managed to get rid of my problem.
