Hi,
I tried using the Terminal Program with the AVR to communicate. With no response.
When i wrote "man" or "mcd" or "mtt" comes are only of numbers in the text box.
When i wrote "S" comes : Genboard 1.1.27.
Where can the problem be?
I have tested two PNP Vemsboxes and two USB to serial controllers and two laptops.
Firmware is 16x14 1.1.27
I need to test the Injektorfet's because I have at one VEMSbox only have a spark on cylinder 3.
1,2,4 and 5 I have no spark more.Where can be the Problem???
0 Stepper D EC18pin11 not Work
1 I259-4 EC36pin11 not Work
2 Stepper A EC18pin 4 Work (Spark)
3 Stepper B EC18pin10 not Work
4 Stepper C EC18pin 5 not Work
Thanks
you need to write
"Man"
not
"man"
Thank you gunni,i will test this tomorrow.
Can you say me how can test the Injektoroutputs for the Coils?
Thank you.

You don't use injector outputs for the ignition coils, you use ignition outputs (I assume you made a brain-fart, or slip of the keyboard).
Test the outputs using VemsTune, check the visual output dialogs.

I use the VemsPNP for a Audi I5 Engine.
Are not Injektorfets : stepper ABCD and I259-4???
On Vemstune i can test only idle or boost.
Thanks
Find where you adjust injector or ignition coil outputs, you can test them there

Which parameters can I test change the outputs?
0 Stepper D EC18pin11 Cylinder 1
1 I259-4 EC36pin11 Cylinder 2
3 Stepper B EC18pin10 Cylinder 4
4 Stepper C EC18pin 5 Cylinder 5
Can you test it with the terminal???
Thanks
Maybe the visual dialogs in VemsTune under "basic settings" are not available under 1.1.27, I never tried. You only use VemsTune with that firmware once, when you upgrade to the latest version.

Hello,
when upgrade to 1.1.74 then can test the Stepper A,B,C,D and I259-4 ???
Upgrade to 1.1.81. And yes, you can test them with the more recent firmware.
Make sure to look over all the new tables, take good default settings from the config in my signature on the forum.

hi,
i upgraded to the firmware 1.1.81 but i dont know where to test the exits :
0 Stepper D EC18pin11 Cylinder1
1 I259-4 EC36pin11 Cylinder2
2 Stepper A EC18pin 4 Cylinder3
3 Stepper B EC18pin10 Cylinder4
4 Stepper C EC18pin 5 Cylinder5
attached is a screenshoot which show that i have trouble to test the exits
or choose

Go to the "Base setup" menu, check the ignition output visual dialog as I have pointed out earlier.

Hi,
After the test with ignition output visual and new firmware 1.1.81 and function testing i have no spark on cylinder 1,2,3,4,5
How works the ignition output visual?
With a Spark plug and Coil or only a lamp ???
after trouble shooting i opend the vems to check the situation inside and i discovered the bourned Stepper Driver.
please see atached pics.
