Title: Wideband Firmware v1.4.8
Post by: [email protected] on September 10, 2010, 10:12:04 AM
Uploaded this to my mate's Wideband (approx 3 months old).
Uploaded and Verified successfully.
On cycling the power the top display flashed S-5 then went blank.
Unit responded to MegaTune and showed no warm-up or anything of use, ended up returning to http://vems.hu/download/round/round_2009-03-03.zip where the gauge worked perfectly again.

What bitmask and where did you change it?
Is this in a readme or any document anywhere?

Nope, it´s in the Display demo settings in the megatune program.

It says to keep it at 255 as default there, but mine wasn´t, I don´t know if it changed when I did upgrade the firmware or
what but it wasn´t 255. So when I changed it to 255 and the rest all zero´s the gauge display came alive.

Okay got it working this way:
Reset the firmware to an old version http://vems.hu/download/round/round_2009-03-03.zip
The updated it to the April version http://vems.hu/download/round/round_2010-04-07.zip
The display went blank.
Set the display demo as Gunni specified the display came alive.
Then updated to the new version http://vems.hu/download/round/round_2010-09-07_1.4.8.zip
