Title: Battery voltage jumping
Post by: pipo_esa on October 11, 2010, 03:04:31 PM
Battery voltage is jumping in Vemstune display from 12.6 - 14.4 volts

Input voltage to board is about 13.7 volts and it is steady.

Is this just configuration problem or is there some problems with board?

Loose ground wiring on engine,
I had the same on a Subaru, one ground that was not on tight would make it all craisy

Found few loose ground connections and voltage is steadier now but still jumping

Check alternator and it is giving steady 15 volts which is bit high
