Hi, CLT shows 154°C after powering up, it is a standard Bosch NTC (CLT in = EC36-14). I checked the wiring with NTC connected: 1.45kOhm@12°C, OK so far.
I am using 17points curve for calibrating.
Did I miss anything to configure with firmware 1.1.81? IAT (NTC) is working well.
I hope, it is no hardware failure.
But if so, is it possible to use the EGT-Sensor (not in use yet) instead for measuring the coolant temperature?
Thanks for helping
Why do you say you use the 17 point curve to calibrate the sensor, when it's obvious you have not calibrated it, as it gives false readings ?
1.45kOhm@12°C sounds like too low resistance at that temperature to be the standard sensor used on most "Bosch" engines.
Just measure voltage on detached sensor connector. There must be 5V.
In your case it sounds like sensor signal wire is shortened to ground.
Thanks GintsK, you put me in the right direction, I checked the wiring again and found the short-circuit, sometimes the simple things ;)
Now all values are plausible and I get a constant rpm-signal while cranking. Next will be the trigger-test in VemsTune…
