Title: Injector connector with Led question.
Post by: andreNL on March 06, 2011, 08:47:07 pm
Hi, i have my unit on the table and have question about fitting a led to a connector
because i use 150ohm with the led but a injector is only 12,6ohm so i wunder if this is possible?
cheers andre

The transistor on the output has only one job, short to ground. So yes, it will work.

That fast thanks mattias, i asked because the time between injector events are redicilous long
I thought maybe the high ohm had something to do with it, but i asume its not.
Can a Fet inside shorting the signal in? Because i smoked r13 it got so hot its solder melted i checked evrything but cant find a short. Voltage from the Fet drivers is  11,80 and drops to 2,5 after r13. The other are ok.
Cheers.andré

I have a test setup on a table. Evrything cleaned and checked,
Vemstune trigger signal generator is working beautiful with camsync wbo2 voltages with resistors fitted are perfectly in spec except the value stays at 0.4 i dont know if it gives a reading with resistors fitted or with the sensor only.
Still led's fitted in the injector connectors are not blinking at the wright speed i can however turn them on and off in vemstune and i do have a rpm reading in vemstune injection opening time increacing with rpm.
Led connected to ignition leads blinks like it supposed to do fast blinking.
Fallback is installed with zenor,
Diodes direction in LowZ are ok first diode Resistance 450ohm second 160 ohm
Voltage between diode 19,6v at zenor side 11,8 and between diode and Fet 10.05v.
Supply Voltage is 11,8v from pc power supply.
Can de diodes be faulty?
