Method 1.
I bought the VAG trigger from VW lupo to my 5-cyl 3B.. First of all it leaks oil.. it sux..
Second i have serious triggering problems. pulses sometimes disappear I can see in log.. it only runs on cyl 1,2 and 5.. ?
What can cause this trigger pulse losses?
When i use method 2. (60-2 trigger at crank pulley) I only get 10rpm no matter what i do? Could it be the secondary HALL sensor cam-sync thats in wrong pos..?
Where in the cycle shall the secondary trigger be positioned on a 5 cyl?
trigger log would help you really much

what ecu you are using? plug&play 3b or something?

you were making trigger log on working engine? can you make it with bigger baud rate? or upload config file?
Yes engine starts... but misfires on cyl 3 and 4.. no spark and i get "sec trigg bad pos"..

Triggerlog picture above is disturbed because of too slow data rate/too high rpms. Capture it either at cranking speed or at maximal baud rate while idling.

Yep that was corret.. Trigger now works superb.. but still having leakage problems, guess i have to live with it.
