Hi guys!
If I'm running closed loop EGO correction, does the table still need to be set up to increase/decrease fuel per the ideal gas law? It seems that EGOc would take care of the adjustments per the per the WBO2 sensor. I notice when the MATs are high the car runs leaner due to the table and then EGOc puts back in the fuel that is taken out. This seems pointless.
Would someone enlighten me to what is going on here?

Wrong thinking. Tune your maps as best as you can, only then turn the EGO correction on (5-10% max).
By the way, default MAT/TPS table works pretty well.
