hi, im after a good trigger wheel and sensor and need advice on where to get one, found these so far http://trigger-wheels.com/store/index1.html
You're thinking of going for a crank trigger?
Your VEMS is setup for a hall trigger so we'll need to modify it if you plan to go that direction.
im building the engine for 600bhp+ so want the most accuracy i can get and the cas is not up to the job :)
do i need to return it to you
Well if you decide to go this way we could look at the way the guys in Sweden prefer to do their crank triggers - one tooth at 60deg BTDC and one tooth at 60deg BBDC and use a Honeywell 1GT1 hall sensor.
Which would give you a top quality sensor with the right output type... And arguably a better triggering solution.
i was going to get an aluminium crank pully wheel machined to take a trigger wheel, the trigger wheel your talking about would have 2 teeth 180' apart and could be 2 machined studs set onto the pully with the exposed ends shaped to form a tooth, they could be set into the middle belt drive as this is spare :)
Sounds like the start of a good plan. You can use the CAS disk's inner slot as the cam sync.
The Honeywell 1GT101 sensor is detailed here:

It weighs in at the hefty price of Ã,£18
