Title: Understanding the "Injector Calibration" tab of Vemstune

I have been looking at this recently and want to make sure I am reading the data correctly.

I think the bar chart shows the tooth timings for each cylinder (in firing order) such that negative numbers and shorter bars indicate the crank is going faster for a particular firing cycle, and longer bars with positive numbers indicate a slowing down.  Presumably these are differences from some kind of rolling average calculated by VT?  I should then in theory be able to use this logged data to adjust the individual cylinder trims to bring all the cylinders into line.

It could be possible if the trigger setup is done right

I positive that on a subaru setup the calculation is wrong
As there is always 2 cyl that are higher or lower then the other 2
That is also on a brand new engine , so
Every subaru engine i have made , eighter have difference cyl pressure right to left ,
OR the calculation is wrong

Hello Dnb,

The individual power gauge shows the relative rpm period in TIME difference between cylinders not against average but against each other. If a properly balanced triggerwheel is used it will give you a good indication of power produced (or rather power diff) between cylinders.

Useful for:

* detecting which cylinder miss-fires
* balancing injector trim (offset)
* detecting uneven home made trigger wheels.
