Title: Mounting LowZ extension on older vems
Post by: lost on August 26, 2016, 09:31:09 am
Vems board older than 3.7 does not have additional holes to mount LowZ extension.

For those who added this board on 3.3-3.6 boards with no holes, how did you mounted it?
Drilled and expanded middle hole, or mounted it outside of Vems case?

I got version 1.1 board from VEMS.  its different from 1.0.
I have it mounted upside down, becouse i had to solder that side of pcb to get good connection,  i guess is does not matter if A pad is on B channel fet they are all the same circuts...

Flyback wire from harness to goes to +12v pad like on picture, that +12pad is connected to anode of 30v diode on extension.
I left PWM off 100% and it works as before.

Need to test it with LPG low-Z injectors and PWM
