Title: P259 alternative?
Post by: JohnP on August 28, 2016, 03:24:09 PM
A bad alternator may have fried p259 as it no longer can control the fans relays. Its grounded correctly. Should I have added a heavy duty diode to the relay trigger wire?
Since the vems and tach are receiving the signal from msd can I use another source to drive the fan?  I have extra ignition pins if its possible.
Thank you. JohnP
