Title: Brake pressure sensor channel recommendation
Post by: se7ensport on April 26, 2017, 05:51:07 PM
Hi

I'm using VEMS to record lap data, ideally I want to track braking points along with relative pressure i.e. actual PSI numbers aren't important, but 0-100% is very useful.

I've found a 3 pin sensor used on VW stability control systems that looks ideal (pin 1 +, pin 2 -, pin 3 signal), is there a recommended channel that the signal volts would be best returned to? I don't have oil, fuel or boost pressure in use - would one of these be suitable without the data forming part of another calculation and corrupting VE or spark?

Thanks
Alex

You can use any non pulled up channel and then use the analog input calibration help to make it scale properly.
