hi
want to get the Bordcomputer on my Audi 200 full working..
Therefore i would need a "Verbrauchssignal" that is a PWM with variable Dutycycle...the longer the injector stay open, the longer is the high phase
can this be configured in VEMS tune...and if yes, which pin?
regards
Reinhold

any pin :) use sec pwm table for that :)
thank you very much...
PWM duty cycle map vs rpm...should give a perfect load signal

thank you very much...
PWM duty cycle map vs rpm...should give a perfect load signal
it may need some pullup to 12v or some capacitor on output but in general it should work :)
update
i tested the Bordcomputer with a consumption signal , generated with a function generator...
the calculation for consumption depends only on duty cycle, varied frequency between 50 Hz and 500Hz, makes no difference
i will make a small pcb with an IXDD604 and pull up at IN, so VEMS dont see a lot of load, and i have a nice strong signal for my cluster
thank you for the productive discussion
There is thread about fuel consumption signal in S2 forum, where someone said that BC of B3/B4 doesn't care if input signal has PWM signal or analog 0 - 5v signal. IIRC I've read somewhere, but doesn't remember where, that on the inside of BC the signal is filtered down to analog signal anyway. Makes no wonder actually, as both B3/B4 BC and C3 BC could be hooked up to both PWM signal from sophisticated enough ECU, or could be hooked up to potentiometer attached to K-jet potentiometer [KV or 10vt engine].
