Hey Guys

Completely new to VEMS ECU and busy building a harness for someone.

I was wondering as the customer can't tell me how the ECU was configured as he bought it second hand.

Is it possible to see how it was configured from the Serial Number and who do I contact?

Secondly if the ECU wasn't really configured to be suitable for our application can it be updated?

Just for info its a 1UZ-FE Non VVT-i running ITB's.

We are also wondering about trigger patterns as we have a 12 tooth no missing teeth crank trigger with a single lobe cam sync trigger both VR.
Can't seem to see on the software how we would set that up. No biggie as we can easily fit a 36-2 trigger wheel if needs be.
The software only shows either Missing Teeth or Coil Type trigger patterns.

For ECU config, send the serial number to [email protected]. It often takes quite a long time to receive a response though, unfortunately. If you know if it was purchased through a dealer, the dealer may have that info as well.

Is it possible to change it? Yeah, but it's sometimes not practical. Short answer is "it depends"
