Title: purchasing in uk?
Post by: Seight-v8 on July 12, 2009, 11:08:39 PM
hello all,

So it's my first post, and i've been looking at getting the VEMS to run my newly built rover v8 4.6 engine, converting it from sagem/lucas GEMS.

It already has the necessary sensors/configuration, just need ecu, lambda and to make a loom, hopefully (sounds too easy).

Anyway just wanted to ask where can i purchase VEMS hardware in the UK, been on the hungarian site and it looks complex to order parts from.

Thanks for any help.

Easiest and best to order from Rob (http://195.159.109.134/vemsuk/forum/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;u=1).

I've also PM'ed dnb to draw his attention to this thread, as he's got a Rover V8 in a TVR which is nicely sorted so he's definately the man to be talking to.

hello all,

All sorted now thanks to dnb.

Now the fun starts when it arrives, should keep me busy for a while, and lots to read & learn in the mean time.
