Title: Traction Control Setup
Post by: 944boy on July 27, 2020, 02:29:10 AM
Hey guys, I'm new to the VEMS community. I recently purchased a plug n play kit for my 944 turbo (which is being turned into a time attack car) and saw the ecu can setup traction control.

That all sounds cool, but after countless hours of research I'm really not sure how to make this work. I'm stuck between using a Passive Speed Sensor or a Hall Effect Wheel Speed Sensor. And how the heck would I even wire it to the ecu?

Does anybody have any experience with traction control setups? Anything helps!

P.S. The car is RWD so I am just planning on having 1 sensor on each rear half/drive shaft (total of 2 sensors)  :)

Talk to the supplier of your ecu to determine what input features you have available too you.
