Ok, just a couple last questions.
I have the COP unit (4 wire +5V signal) wired up 0-7 in the firing order.
Looking in the software it traverses the coils in reverse order. So I have the Ign outputs set to;
0-7
1-6
2-5
3-4
4-3
5-2
6-1
7-0
Does that look correct? I do have a hall sensor on the cam. So I should have no issues running sequential.
I would try to run wasted just to get running but it wants to do 0+1 2+3 4+5 6+7 which in order to run wasted I would have to run 0+4 1+5 2+6 3+7
Also I have the injectors paired as I needed the outputs. So I have divided the firing order in half and wired the matching cylinders together.
Now my Inj outputs look like this;
0-4
1-1
2-2
3-8
Is this correct?
I am using a divider of 2 and alternating enabled with 3..0
This is all that is needed to be confirmed on, or fixed before the car willl start.
I have already tried and it will not start as is.
The engine is 4995CC with 19# injectors. Req fuel is at 21.33
It doesnt seem to me like the injectors or ign is firing. I will be checking the plugs in a tiny bit here though.
TIA
Ok, two updates.
I have no spark that I can see and the plugs are completely dry.
So it looks like we have no spark or fuel.
I disconnected the hall sensor and got no more RPM reading while cranking.
Checking to see if I get the same from the stock VR style sensor now.
Disconnected the VR reference sensor and dropped RPM while disconnected too.
So I would say that they are both working.
Any suggestions?
Disable Secondary trigger when in wasted spark mode. Have you checked H2 table? It's under Advanced -> H2. Check that the values are IGN for first half and 0 for 2nd half of the table.
After chatting with Peep, talking to a local fellow and finding the IRC channel I found out that the 8 ign channels do not provide the proper signal to fire the COP units.
I switched them to the stepper outputs and the worked properly right away.
Thanks for everyones help.
If anyone does know how to get =5V logic output on the 8 outputs it would be helpful to know. I removed the IGBT units and bridged pins 1 &2 together, this did not work. One fellow suggested to put the IGBT units back in and to then take a 1k ohm pullup resistor and attach it to pin 2 and the other side to +5V off the board.
Thanks again.
