Title: Enable AIM mode
Post by: fphil on February 09, 2018, 09:32:19 pm

How do you enable this option "AIM mode" from "Preferences/cCommunications settings".
I  never get the option "yes" to select, always "no"
I have set  "AIM Stream setting/AIM" Enable and restarted everything before.

The documentationfrom the button next to it says:
"If this option is enabled, AIM communication will be used, if incoming AIM is detected"

I wanted to check the AIM stream on the first UART using this mode...

Right, this is why I have set  "AIM Stream setting/AIM" on "Enable" from VT and have restarted V3 (and VT).

So what is this VT option "AIM mode" from "Preferences/Communications settings" for? and how do you enable it?
I understand, for the less, that this  is to run VT in a certain communication mode related to AIM. Do you know more? Is is documented somewhere?
