Vr sensor fake misfiring. What resistors ?

Hello. I have a vr sensor triggering type on my Ford v6 engine. Problem is that when engine revs it make like fake limiter to about 5600.my vr is about 700 ohms.  I tried use a 4.7k resistor to the sensor pins and thugs got better making that limiter to 6300. What resistor circuit is needed to make that thing work ? Many thanks !
