lambda-target in pulsewidt

There is a calculation gauge screen in new vemstune, and I see an interesting thing in pulsewidth calculation:

So lambda-target modifies the pulsewidth, I no need change VE table if I would like to go richer or leaner.
I think there was another method in older fw (I used 1.1.27) where lambda-target need for ego corr only.
Unfortunatelly I have not found the old calc method on vems site.

Is my inspection correct?

Lambda table has always scaled the fuel.
The VE map is there to map the volumetric efficiency of the engine, the lambda table maps the fuelling requirements.
So at idle and cruise you'll be wanting a target of 1.0lambda, higher RPM and loads you're targeting 0.9 to 0.85 and under heavy boost you'll probably want higher to help cool and protect the engine.
What this means is that you end up with a fairly flat VE table.
