warmup enrichment issue
« on: July 22, 2015, 09:03:03 pm »
I have been tuning my audi for some time now, but I am facing some issues here. When the engine is still in warmup stage, it works and revs  fine without load, as soon as I go driving, engine is really stumbling. No problems when its warm. I took  a look at the log and as far as I can understand, its caused by  warmup enrichment curve. Maybe someone could take a look at my vemslog and config, and give me some suggestions. http://www.vems.hu/filethingie.php?subdir=iwbs

isAccel seems to be too much, check the lambda which goes down  to 0.65

I forgot yo add I am running fw 1.2.9, the lowest lambda I saw is 0.71 and its jumping around a lot more when warmup enrichment is over 100 percent, thatswhy I was suspecting warmup enrichment. Exactly what setting do you mean under "isAccel"?

I changed Acc Cold Multiplication Factor to 120% and Cold Acceleration Added Amount to 0% req. fuel, which were recommended settings in someone's thread here. It's better now and the car is actually reacting when accelerating cold, but lambda still goes rich for a moment, when MAP starts to rise, and then after a while gets to lambda target.

Hello Iwbs,

It is recommended to disable all acceleration enrichment until tuning of VE table, warmup and afterstart cycles is complete, easiest way to do this is to set all dTps enrichments percentages (right column) to 0%.

Best regards, Dave
