Need Help setting up sectig.
« on: November 17, 2016, 06:12:31 pm »
Engine runs fine with primary trigger only, but when I enable the secondary trigger engine starts but it runs very rough....like on half cylinders.

This is a VR6 engine, stock 60-2 crank sensor and stock 1pulse per cycle cam sensor.
I'm trying to get full sequential injection with wasted spark ignition.

To me it looks like I only get ignition events in the first engine cycle.
Somehow I need to get 6 ignition events using only 3 ignition outputs.
Any suggestions on how to do that?

I enabled sectrig (nothing else changed), took a screenshot of the settings and logged the triggers.
This is the configuration that doesn't run good.

It DOES work! Thank you very much!

Although... I had to take care of a bunch of "details". I bought mine with a "plug and play" harness that's wired.... random.
Had to use the Test feature to identify each ignition and injector output then re-map for proper firing order.

You should always configure the whole 4-stroke events.
So if you have 6 firing events you need th select 6 ign op
