Fuel Injector Testing
« on: March 29, 2017, 09:03:10 pm »
Hello everyone!
Im starting a thread here where we can talk about testing and cleaning fuel injectors.

I have plans of building myself a testmachine for injectors, i have actually already start manufactured some of the parts and tested some electronics.
But i´m a little bit curious of how the china machines work, i guess that somebody in here have tested them?
So what do you think of these and whats the main problems with these machines?

This is one of the machines that im talking about:

Did you ever get one of their machines?

Yes i actually got this up and running yesterday, and have made some tests!
One big problem with the china machine is that the pump starts after the signal to the injectors.
Another problem is that there isn´t a fuel pressure regulator and the pump is to small to drive big injectors.

My solution to this is to install a fuel pressure regulator and a bigger pump and run them manually for now.

I will reply with the new results later.

I use White Spirits for test liquid.

What detergent do you suggest for cleaning the injectors in the ultrasonic cleaner?

I did also some tests on an aparatus out of the car but using the pump, the pressure regulator and the gasoline of the car. This way you test the regulator and the car pump as well.....
