Toyota 4+1 trigger
« on: April 14, 2008, 09:18:50 pm »
Hi All.

Can any of You clever minds, help mye with a trigger setup config, to use on a Toyota 7AFE engine,
It uses the same setup as the 4AGE setup in this pdf:,
That is all built in to the distributer on the cam,
Were there is a 4 tooth crank(NE signal) and a 1 tooth cam(G1 signal)
I need this for a Celica AT200 94´
And do i need special firmware?

Thanks in advance....

1.1.18 should be fine.

It will be as noisy as hell, and you'll do well to clamp the G1 signal with a big enough resistor to stop false triggers.

Thanks Rob,

But it´s more the trigger settings that i need, i´m positive that we can filter out the noise,

Thanks,

Having tried it I'm not convinced, you might be lucky.

The settings are simple - coil type, 4 teeth in primary trigger, and in secondary trigger type in 25 in the top box and burn to ecu.

OKay, thanks.

we will give it ago, otherwise there will be a 36-1 wheel on the crank,
as i did on the AE86,
It´s just that we are a bit in a hurry, as this Toyota also will be attemting the 3days at the Ring, the 3th - 6th may,
So a bit short on time, to get everything back together, and get it running.

Thanks,
Skassa
