strange TPS spike?
« on: October 13, 2019, 05:29:56 pm »
hello all,

Looking at some running logs over the last few day, I see a dTPS/dt spike reading of 4.0, when driving at constant speed on the motorway, so im not pressing the pedal, looks like some kind of signal noise from somewhere.

The min setting of my acceleration enrichment is 6, should I be worried about this spike?.

Seen here at the very bottom of the third row of logs.

Weirdly, does not show anything like this when the engine is not running.

cheers

Noise.
because of that you need to do accel enrichments only after 6.

Still not sure where this is coming from.

Remade the earth connection to the TPS, as it was a little flakey.

Weirdly, its not showing up and the dtps/dt gauge, but it shows up in the vemslogsā€¦.

Current I do have the acceleration enrichment start at 6....so its not causing problems as such, but would be nice to solve the problem.
cheers

Scope the TPS voltage to attempt to identify if the noise is always at a certain frequency
