VT sectrig angle

In the latest vt you can set sectrig angle, normally i see it hovering around 145deg so i put in minimum angel 125 and max 166 just to keep the warning light out.
Whats the use of this feature and how should it be used?
I use the camsync to reset after last cilinder event works fine.
