Hi
Apologies for a long post!
About 7 years ago I bought a 1991 Porsche 944 S2 with a standard VEMS set up installed. Car ran nicely except for drastic loss of revs and stalling when taking your foot off, particularly when cold, ok when running through the lanes , but no use when coming up to junctions or other stops and I use it in the city a lot...... I had no time or the knowledge to sort it, so I removed it. A year later I put it on another 1991 S2, a cab, with the same results, I did try many things with some help from friends, changing the base  map and lots of other settings, all to no avail, so it was removed once again.
I have now decided it WILL work!
It is now fitted to a 1990 S2. Car is completely standard other than a custom exhaust, designed to mimic the original as closely as possible.
I have two issues, one car runs ok once warm but still with the foot off /stalling issue and two the only map I  have is the one I messed about with and left on the unit, I've lost the old back ups with changing laptops over the last 5 years.
I have tried some revised Revlimit/overrun settings which may have helped but the map is so messed up I'm not sure.....
Does anyone have a known good map for a 944 S2 they could share , I'm not looking for anything mega, just a decent working one, if it makes a little more power and/or torque then great but the car is a road car in the UK.
If you made it this far thanks!
